A Closer Look at the Adele Jumsuit
New Pattern Release - The Adele Jumpsuit and Playsuit Pdf Sewing Pattern
I don’t know about you, but I love a jumpsuit, and for that reason I couldn’t resist making a sister pattern to the Chloe Dress. The Adele Jumpsuit has a similar bodice to the Chloe Dress, but with added sleeves and lovely wide leg trousers or shorts. If you’re new to jumpsuits then they have the same benefit as dresses with no need to worry about co-ordinating a top and bottom. Jumpsuits also create a streamlined, elongated silhouette, with the trousers and bodice joining together to create a continuous line. The Adele Jumpsuit Sewing Pattern can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. For a casual day out, wear sneakers or sandals. And for an formal event the jumpsuit looks great with heels and statment jewellery. Shop the Adele Jumpsuit here.
The Details
The jumpsuit sewing pattern comes in eight sizes (UK 6-20).
There are two sleeve options, both of which gather into elastic at the sleeve head and the cuffs. Choose either elegant elbow length sleeves, or cute, short puff sleeves.
The jumpsuit has wide-legged trousers that can be worn at cropped at the ankle. Or it can be made with as a playsuit with short.
There optional deep comfy pockets.
The Opening
As always, the big question with a jumpsuit is how to get in and out! The Adele Jumpsuit has a zip opening at the centre back that finishes just above the bra line. The instructions are for a regular zip, but you can also use an invisible zip if you prefer that.
Casual and comfortable
The Adele Jumpsuit is perfect for a comfortable and stylish daytime look. Make her is soft viscose, or cool cotton and style with sneakers or sandals for a fun daytime look.
Party Playsuits and Jumpsuits
The Adele Jumpsuit Sewing Pattern is gorgeous for a night out. Dress up her with heels and statement jewellery for an elegant look. Go formal or fun with your fabrics. I love the Adele Jumpsuit with a mix of fabrics, make the bust and sleeves in sequins or satin and the bodice and trousers or shorts in velvet or viscose.
Fabrics
The jumpsuit sewing pattern is designed for medium weight, woven, non-stretch fabrics. The wide-legged trousers of the jumpsuit look great with fabrics that have a drapey feel such as visose, which will also gather beautifully at the bust.
