A big congratulations to Coco @lesponctuelles on her wedding! Such a beautiful bride and stunning wedding dress. And gorgeous bridesmaids, two of whom were wearing the Springe Jumpsuit! It was such an honour to have my jumpsuit sewing pattern included in Coco’s wedding. Coco and her bridesmaid Charlie write a blog about their travel and sewing adventures. And have written about the process of sewing the bridesmaid’s jumpsuits and dresses which you can read here.

After not being able to find the style of bridesmaid’s dresses they liked, Charlie offered to make the bridesmaids outfits herself and set about searching for the perfect jumpsuit and dress sewing patterns to use. They choose the Springe Jumpsuit Sleeve Extension sewing pattern because they wanted a jumpsuit that was elegant and suitable for a wedding. The jumpsuit has wide leg trousers, that lengthen the legs and a waistband that gives an incredible silhouette. They choose the more formal sleeve with buttoned cuffs. Charlie made a toile of the jumpsuits first to check the fit and happily found that no fit alterations were needed. If you’re making the jumpsuit yourself and need help on fitting then take a look at my Springe Jumpsuit Fit Tutorials here.

Coco wanted green for her bridesmaids to go with her winter wedding theme. They found a lovely eco-friendly viscose crepe from the French fabric brand Cousette (check out my list of Ethical Fabric Suppliers if you’re searching for sustainable fabrics). The fabric has a beautiful drape that works perfectly with both the bridesmaid’s dresses and bridesmaid jumpsuit sewing pattern. The soft green fabric has tiny gold patterns on it and is a stunning choice!

Congratulations to Coco on your wedding day! And congratulations to Charlie too, for making such amazing bridesmaids outfits!
