Summer Sunset in Finland
I tested out the first sample I made of the playsuit version of Springe Jumpsuit sewing pattern on a trip to Finland last summer. The fabric I used was Atelier Brunette’s Stardust Ochre fabric, a double cotton gauze that is 100 Oeko-Tex certified and embroidered with lots of pretty golden dots. We were staying in a summerhouse on a small island at Lake Saimai, which is an huge lake in South Karelia. After having lived in London for so many years, to go to a place where there are so few people and such an immensity of nature is pretty mind-blowing. If you get the chance to travel there, I can highly recommend it! We took the photos of the playsuit at the evening sunset, after a sauna and swim in the lake.
